gio ponti: poetic geometric

this is gio ponti‘s ‘wall light’ from 1959. his work is one of the most important influences in design.
last year I went to the preview of philips de pury ‘s auctions during london design festival and saw this brass and painted metal beauty which was manufactured by arredoluce.
